Due to continued growth, we're expanding our collections team and are seeking a motivated, customer focused individual to join our friendly and supportive team. About the Role As a Debt Collection Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts on behalf of accounting and legal firms across Australia. You’ll engage with firm partners and practice managers via online meetings to discuss debt positions, collection strategies and account performance, ensuring our clients maintain strong relationships with their customers. This is a full time work from home position offering flexibility, excellent support and a collaborative culture that values integrity, teamwork and professional growth. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of client accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts Communicate with debtors via phone, email, and SMS in a professional and respectful manner Meet with accountancy and legal firm partners to review debt positions, discuss recovery strategies and provide performance updates Negotiate and agree on suitable payment arrangements with debtors Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions and account statuses using Fee Synergy's collection system Collaborate internal teams and clients to resolve account queries and discrepancies Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For Previous experience in debt collection or accounts receivable (experience within accounting or legal sectors highly regarded) Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in presenting to clients Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Professional, empathetic and customer focused approach Self motivated and comfortable working remotely Why Join Fee Synergy Full time work from home flexibility Supportive, collaborative and fun team culture Training and ongoing professional development Opportunity to work directly with partners of top accounting and legal firms Be part of a fast growing business with real career progression Make a difference by helping clients improve cash flow and client relationships Attend regular webinars and training sessions with AICM #J-18808-Ljbffr
