Here, we feel empowered, supported, and inspired to grow. Purpose We are looking for a dynamic individual with an understanding of biometric technology to work on transformative border solutions. Working closely with a highly skilled application team, this person will help us design and tune capabilities for customers by creating testing and analysis capabilities and by compiling reports on biometric performance. Key Responsibilities Analyses and makes recommendations on tuning and configuration of biometrics capabilities. Designs and develops capabilities and modules for analysing, testing and configuring biometrics systems, including for analysing image quality, matching and liveness detection. Compiles reports on biometric performance. Experience 5+ years’ experience in a software engineering environment designing and developing software application features using biometric technology. Professional Competencies Experience with biometrics technology Understanding of Application Development and Testing Tools Understanding of Application Programming Interfaces (API’s) Commercial Acumen Conceptual Thinking Understanding of Configuration Management Information Security Management Managing Change Managing Risk Performance Measurement and Tuning Scripting Requirements Analysis Experience with Server Operating Systems and Platforms Experience with System and Technology Integration Systems Thinking Technical acumen Technical Troubleshooting Report Writing Core Competencies Adhering to Principles & Values Communication Customer Focus Impact & Influence Leading Execution Results Orientation Teamwork Education & Qualifications A qualification or relevant experience in an area such as computer sciences, engineering, or a related field.
