Operating Australia’s first IECEx Certified Service Facility for the inspection and maintenance of Ex electrical equipment we provide our customers independently accredited service and the highest levels of safety, compliance and peace of mind. About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team at Elemera Australia in Perth, Western Australia. You'll work closely with the Finance Manager, gaining practical experience across all aspects of accounting and finance within the industry. This role is a great opportunity to develop your skills while supporting the smooth, day-to-day running of our financial and operational processes in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Handle all financial data and company information with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity. Support month-end and year-end financial reporting at the entity and Group level. Prepare and process journal entries. Maintain accurate and organized working papers to support financial statements and account reconciliations. Reconciliation & maintenance of fixed asset registers. Work closely with project managers and the finance team to assist with project reporting and analysis. Support preparation of group forecasts and budgets. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Fortnightly payroll processing. Assist the finance team with accounts payable & receivable processing as required. Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders. Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects. About You Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good understanding of accounting principles. Confident in ability to work independently & as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, Odoo or other ERP systems). Excellent communication and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Proactive and eager to learn and grow within a supportive team.
