Locations: Based out of Gibson Island location What you'll do: Operating Heavy Rigid waste collection vehicles performing collections of Recyclable materials from our network of Customers throughout Greater Brisbane. Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant. Ensure timely and efficient collections and delivery of materials, maintaining adherence to schedules. Accurately complete in-cab electronic reporting systems and other required documentation. Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws. Why Join Our Team? What You Will Bring: A valid HR Licence with minimum of 2 years’ recent Australian driving experience. Previous experience with multidrop, tautliners, flatbeds or waste collections vehicles. Sound knowledge of the Greater Brisbane area. Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report. Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment. A strong commitment to safety and teamwork. A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws. Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
