The campus features contemporary learning spaces, sporting facilities, and a strong focus on student‑centred learning. Curriculum is delivered from Prep to Year 10, with French and Auslan languages offered. Years 11‑12 offer a range of VCE and VCE\,VM items. Selection Criteria SC1 – Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills, and experience responding to student learning needs. SC2 – Experience planning for and implementing high‑impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluating the impact of learning and teaching programs. SC3 – Experience monitoring and assessing student learning, using data to inform teaching practice, and providing feedback to students and parents. SC4 – Interpersonal and communication skills, establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader school community. SC5 – Demonstrated behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values, reflecting on practice and engaging in professional learning. SC6 – High‑level skills and capacity to contribute collaboratively across a P‑12 College. Role The classroom teacher classification has two salary ranges – Range 1 and Range 2. The primary focus is on planning, preparing, and teaching programs to achieve specific student outcomes, with increasing responsibility and influence as experience grows. Range 2 – Significant role in improving student performance and contributing to school policy. Responsibilities include mentoring other teachers, providing expert advice on content and pedagogy, supervising student teachers, and using student data to inform instruction. Range 1 – Developing skills and competencies under guidance from senior teachers. Responsibilities cover classroom management, subject content, and teaching practice, with structured support for new entrants. Responsibilities Direct teaching of groups and individual students; Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum areas or programs; Undertaking other classroom‑teaching related and organisational duties as directed by the School Principal; Participating in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions; Undertaking other non‑teaching supervisory duties. Conditions of Employment The vacancy is to replace an employee on parental absence, for a period of seven years or until the employee returns to duty. Qualification Requirements Provisional or full registration approved by the Victorian Institute of Teaching. If completed an Australian postgraduate level initial teaching program or course of study on or after 1 January 2024, must demonstrate successful completion of an accredited program. Graduates from a Victorian Initial Teacher Education (ITE) program after 1 July 2016 must also satisfy the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education (LANTITE) requirements (if part of the program).
