DISTRIBUTION SUPERVISOR - AFTERNOON SHIFT Cordina Group is an Australian market leader in the extremely competitive 'Value Added' or 'Convenience' sector. Our tasty Value-Added range of fresh meal options is quite simply unmatched, which is why we supply the majority of supermarkets in this important retail sector. We are seeking for exceptional Distribution Supervisor for night shift. Reporting to the DC Operations Manager - Night, this position would ideally suit someone with experience in a cold store dispatch environment who is looking to take the next step in their career to assist with managing the operation based at our Girraween site. The successful candidate will manage a small team to ensure safety, quality and customer standards are met. Responsibilities Hands on supervision of day-to-day operation of the distribution team; Hands on supervision of all packing of orders and loading of vehicles; Monitoring and assisting with team workloads where required; Overseeing staff to ensure high levels of productivity; Managing stock movements & rotation; Ensuring optimum pick rates and accuracy; Ensuring all aspects of customer orders are fulfilled; Managing all staffing including rostering; Management of all cool room operations; Co-ordinate cleaning of distribution and cool room areas; Overseeing housekeeping of distribution area; Receipting of goods; Maintaining facility requirements to HACCP standards and WHS compliance; Working closely with all key stakeholders to maintain a smooth transition of workflow between each shift; Maintain collaboration between the clerks and warehouse staff; Assisting the DC Operations Manager and the Distribution & Warehouse Manager with Training process; Any other duties assigned by the DC Operations Manager or the Distribution & Warehouse Manager. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work under pressure and within tight time frames, have obtained a certificate III in Distribution and/or Warehousing and have previous experience in Dispatch. Using your excellent organization and multi-tasking skills you will drive process improvement and develop a committed team. A great opportunity to really make a difference.
