About the role The Operator Processing – Gold Room plays a vital role at Mungari, reporting to the Gold Room Supervisor and acting as the primary liaison between processing, maintenance, and metallurgy teams. This position drives safe and efficient gold room operations while contributing to overall processing excellence. Daily responsibilities include: Assisting with gold pours and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards. Monitoring, analysing, and adjusting processes to meet production targets. Conducting routine sampling, testing, and quality control checks. Accurately recording and reporting measurements, observations, and variances. Maintaining housekeeping standards and troubleshooting equipment issues. Collaborating with metallurgists, maintenance, and other operational teams. This position is offered on a 5:2:4:3 roster (10-hour days) and is open only to candidates currently residing in Kalgoorlie. About you You will b ring a proactive, forward-thinking mindset and the confidence to step up as 2IC when required. You’ll represent Evolution Mining with professionalism, liaising with management and visitors, while working closely with key personnel in a dynamic team environment and have the following key attributes. Previous experience as a process or gold room operator in a gold or related processing plant is desirable. Forklift licence and IT ticket (essential). Cert II/III in Metalliferous Mining Operations (Processing) desirable Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities effectively Strong computer literacy using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Pronto Effective communication skills and ability to prioritise work Demonstrated commitment to safety, consistently adhering to OHS policies and promoting safe work practices At Evolution, as our name suggests, change and transformation is in our DNA.
