We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Global Partnerships and Protocol Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about international collaboration, driven by operational excellence, and skilled in managing complex relationships. About the Role As the Global Partnerships and Protocol Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and operational support for the successful management of global partnerships, Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), international agreements, and delegation visits. Your role will be key in ensuring that the efforts of the Global Partnerships and Protocol team run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with the University's policies and strategic goals. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting Macquarie University’s global engagement strategy while working in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with drafting, reviewing, and updating policies, MOUs, and partnership agreements, ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures. Maintain and update the global partnership database and manage documentation related to institutional agreements and collaborations. Provide operational support for international delegation visits, including coordinating agendas, booking venues, managing logistics like catering and gifts, and ensuring a seamless experience for stakeholders. Support research activities, collating, analysing, and presenting data to inform briefings, team updates, and executive reports. Generate regular and ad hoc reports on international agreements, partnerships, and associated activities. Respond to and address enquiries from international partners and internal stakeholders, escalating issues where required. Identify areas for improvement and contribute to updating documents, systems, and processes to enhance the efficiency and quality of the Global Partnerships and Protocol team. Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. Provide guidance and oversight for casual staff and/or interns working within the department. Selection Criteria A qualification in business, administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in a similar role. Proven experience in providing administrative or operational support for the development and delivery of international agreements or delegation visits. Knowledge of the Australian and broader international education sector. Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines, high attention to detail and track record of managing confidential information. Demonstrated experience in the development, review, and improvement of policies, procedures, and related documents. Strong research, data collation, and analytical skills with the ability to produce detailed reports and briefings. High cross‑cultural awareness with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
