Senior Sourdough Baker – Join Our Artisan Leadership Team At 1816 Bakehouse , every loaf tells a story — slow-fermented, hand-shaped, baked on stone. We’re looking for a Senior Sourdough Baker to join our leadership team and help guide the next chapter of our bakehouse. This is a hands‑on role for a skilled baker who understands the rhythm of sourdough production and thrives in a collaborative environment where quality, consistency and calm leadership matter. What you’ll be doing Working within the leadership team to oversee daily production and maintain quality standards Managing fermentation schedules, dough development and bake times Supporting and mentoring bakers and apprentices Helping refine systems, recipes and processes as we grow Bringing new ideas to strengthen our range and efficiency About you You’re an experienced baker with genuine respect for craft and the people behind it.
