Event Coordindator

Bells at Killcare is seeking an Event Coordinator to join our busy events team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, organisation and execution of weddings, functions and special corporate events, at our prestigious and award-winning boutique coastal resort. Reporting to the Event Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring "hands‑on" event professional to continue their career progression. What you’ll be doing Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and deliver an exceptional experience for conferences, restaurant groups and other special events Create and manage event orders, floor plans and other coordination requirements from start to finish Oversee the procurement of event supplies, equipment and services Coordinate with our in‑house culinary and service teams to ensure seamless event delivery Monitor event progress and troubleshoot any issues that arise Provide post‑event analysis and recommendations for future improvements Manage invoicing and payments for events What we’re looking for Minimum 2 years' experience in event coordination or a similar operational food & beverage role, within the hospitality or similar industry Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal team members Proficiency in using event management software (Opera or similar), MS Office applications, Adobe and Canva is preferable A keen eye for detail and the ability to problem‑solve under pressure Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable events What we offer At Bells At Killcare, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
