Werequire a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Perth based design team, contributing & coordinating design on a range of major Lithium Gold & Copper projects, in Australia, & offshore that our client has been driving from study phase.

Key Requirements

Have a solid understanding of technical (E, I&C) principals relating to the large industrial & complex operational assets that our clients own and operate.

Relevant Electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualificationExperience co ordinating / driving specialized electrical teams, on front end greenfield and brownfield development projects with complex electrical scopeLV design experience (LV MCC design, protection & co-ordination studies)Major project design experience throughout the design cycleExperience / exposure to project delivery, driving a job, (not necessarily an entire project)Understand the project development process for juniors/mid-tier minersProvide specialized advice and guidance to clientThe ability to contribute / influence in a meeting; exercises good judgment on how to contribute, and collaborative behavior

The role will be Perth based, working with an established design team, however there may be occasional input on the studies and reports of our Toronto office, as well as the coordination of works from our engineering office in Manila.

To be considered for the role of Lead Electrical Engineer you need solid design experience on complex high value electrical projects. Our client hire for the long term, not for projects, and while these projects have years of work in them, as the plant completes commissioning, you will have the option to move onto a range of other ongoing projects in the minerals and metals space.
