About the role The Education Support Officer is supervised by the Teacher‑in‑Charge or Head Teacher and works under the direction of a teacher as appropriate. The role is responsible for a range of activities which support learners and enhance the student learning experience and educative processes. You will provide support to a diverse range of learners, ensuring that student outcomes are at the forefront of your decision making. This role is for a February 2026 commencement for the successful candidate. About You To be successful in this role, you must have: Appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications (Diploma of Nursing and or Bachelor of Nursing) and a commitment to maintain technical currency in Nursing field and other relevant areas or equivalent Minimum qualification of a Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration Must have at least two years of experience working as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse in an acute care setting, with hands‑on experience in the nursing industry within the past two years. Ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the discipline. High‑level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be proactive and show initiative and ability to explain ideas in a clear and concise manner. Commitment and ability to support learning in an adult environment and a demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage students. Ability to establish effective working relationships with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and to provide quality customer service as part of a broader team. Skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies. Note This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessment.
