Trainer & Assessor Positions - Community Services OCTEC Limited is a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation (RTO 90142) based in Orange NSW. We are committed to serving our local communities through high quality training. We are seeking a pool of Trainers to deliver CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support in Orange and other parts of Central West NSW. OCTEC Limited employs most Trainers and Assessors on a casual basis. All casual Trainers are paid on a weekly basis, and our trainers are paid for preparation, lesson planning, delivery of training, assessment work, reporting and administration. We are also open to discussing contract training through a sole trader ABN by negotiation. Criteria OCTEC Limited Trainers and Assessors must meet the following criteria. Holds credentials to Train and Assess (holds TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment). Holdsthe CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or (Ageing), or beable to map their experience to the qualification. Has recent experience, or has maintained industry currency in the relevant sector (e.g. Disability or Aged Care). Has participated in activities or professional development ensuring a solid understanding of current VET practices and requirements. Current drivers’ licence and be willing to travel. Current Working with Children Check. Current National Police Check. The above criteria areessential and OCTEC is unable to employ Trainers who do not meet the above requirements. Only applicants that meet the essential criteria and progress to the interview stage will be contacted. For Trainers in Aged Care-related qualifications, being a Registered Nurse with current registration is also highly desirable. OCTEC Limited exists to helpcreate a fairer and more equitable society .
