Well you'll love this role Casual position at Green Hills Residential Care in East Maitland Your contribution counts - focused initiatives to reward and recognise our teams Salary packaging - increased take home pay through salary packaging including novated leasing options Uniform Provided About the Role As a Homemaker at our Green Hills site, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality hospitality services to ensure the residents household services are well set up and presented. We want the residents dining experience to feel home-like and for each individual to feel supported and engaged by you. Your Contribution You can support this individualized care model by: Ensuring food is provided to residents at their chosen mealtime Maintaining effective household servery processes with cleanliness and safety in mind Ensuring adequate stock levels of all self-service servery items, so residents can independently utilise the kitchen as desired Working with the Care Partners to deliver hospitality goals and maintain the desired household culture Ensuring mealtimes reflect a "home-like" experience through the staging of tables, set up of music and lighting, and the fragrant smells of freshly cooked food Engaging with residents during mealtime and if they choose too, support their involvement of setting up the dining experience, preparing meals and clean up Ensuring a thorough understanding of residents' special diet needs and commitment to learning and implementing innovative, tasty, and varied ways to meet customer diet needs and preferences from the Chef team Proactively modelling the Fresh Hope Communities' Values of kindness, connection, optimism and integrity in all interactions with the team, stakeholders, and external parties What You Bring You bring experience in hospitality or care services, ideally within residential aged care, qualifications a plus You're warm, approachable and communicate clearly with residents and team members You're comfortable using IT systems and open to learning new tools You work well in a team and always put residents at the centre of what you do You're physically capable of handling a hands-on role and ready to pitch in where needed You hold (or are willing to obtain) a current National Criminal History Check suitable for aged care About Us Fresh Hope Communities exists to create spaces that cultivate belonging and places that feel like home.
