We are seeking an experienced Specialist Trainer - Processing Production to join our site-based team on an initial 3-month contract. FIFO from Perth. Start : ASAP Roster : 8 / 6 - FIFO from Perth Duration : 3 months - depending on business requirements This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled training professional with strong processing knowledge to support workforce capability and operational readiness. In this role, you will deliver high-quality training, assessment and support across production processing teams. You will ensure all personnel are competent, safe and compliant with site and legislative requirements. The role requires someone who is confident working independently, highly organised, and comfortable engaging with all levels of site personnel. The role Deliver competency-based training and assessment across processing / production operations Conduct VOCs, maintain training records and support compliance reporting Use digital systems for training data capture and workflow management Support continuous improvement and contribute to safe, reliable site operations Work collaboratively with supervisors, cross-functional teams and trainees The successful candidates must have : Certificate IV in Training Assessment (TAE or TAE) - Essential C Class and HR Class Driver's Licence - Essential High Risk Work Licences (HRWL) including : Forklift (LF), EWP (WP), Dogging (DG), Rigging (RB) Working Safely at Heights Enter Work in Confined Spaces + Gas Test Atmospheres Overhead Travelling Crane, Fire Extinguisher use Strong background in Processing Production or fixed plant operations Experience with LMS systems, compliance reporting data capture Understanding of Verification of Competency (VOC) processes Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively Ability to work both independently and as part of a broader team Exposure to structured operating systems (e.g., BOS) - Highly regarded Previous induction to major mining sites is advantageous Certificate IV in Training Assessment (TAE or TAE) – Essential C Class and HR Class Driver's Licence – Essential High Risk Work Licences (HRWL) – Essential Forklift (LF), EWP (WP), Dogging (DG), Rigging (RB), Working Safely at Heights, Enter Work in Confined Spaces + Gas Test Atmospheres, Overhead Travelling Crane, Fire Extinguisher use – High Risk Work Licences Strong background in Processing Production or fixed plant operations – Essential Experience with LMS systems, compliance reporting data capture – Essential Understanding of Verification of Competency (VOC) processes – Essential Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively – Essential Ability to work both independently and as part of a broader team – Essential Exposure to structured operating systems (e.g., BOS) – Highly regarded Previous induction to major mining sites – advantageous If you have any further questions before applying online, please email Holly Storor at holly.storor @persolkelly.com.au PLEASE NOTE - only online applications will be considered Who we are At PERSOL , we connect people to meaningful work and growth.
