A rewarding career opportunity is available for a General Practitioner to join a highly regarded medical centre in North Melbourne, VIC . The centre seeks a dedicated, vocationally registered GP to provide comprehensive, continuing medical care to individuals, families, and the community. With genuine patient demand, the successful candidate will be able to build a patient base quickly. Duties involve conducting consultations for simple and complex health conditions, offering a full range of services including prevention and rehabilitation, and collaborating with other health professionals. The role also encourages participation in ongoing education, health promotion, and assisting in the training of colleagues. The centre operates a mixed billing system and offers highly competitive and flexible contracts, with options for either a lump sum or an hourly rate arrangement. The practice provides a modern, collaborative environment that promotes clinical autonomy, allowing the GP to "practice their way" using flexible consultation methods, including appointments, walk-ins, or telehealth consults. The supportive team is well-composed and includes robust qualified nursing support, which assists significantly with clinical tasks such as Health Assessments and Care Plans, dedicated administrative assistance, and strong backing for Chronic Disease Management (CDM). This team environment is committed to offering support to help a GP develop their practice from day one.
