If you are passionate about criminal law and committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for your clients, then this would be the role for you. About the role As a Criminal Lawyer with our firm, you will manage a wide range of caseload, providing expert legal advice and robust representation to our clients. Your responsibilities will include: Appearing in Magistrates, District, and Supreme Courts. Providing clear and timely advice to clients. Preparing for and conducting bail applications, guilty pleas, and trials. Liaising with clients, police prosecutors, and Counsel. Conducting detailed legal research and preparing all necessary documentation. About you We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled lawyer who meets the following criteria: A current Queensland Law Society practising certificate is preferrable. Experience in criminal law. Exceptional advocacy, communication, and negotiation skills. A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care, with a strong understanding of client service principles. The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment. A strong sense of ethics and professionalism.
