Job Details Continuing, Part-Time (0.6 FTE), Two positions available Located at Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus $114,855 - $135,633 + 17% superannuation About the position The School of Allied Health, Human Services & Sport (SAHHSS) at La Trobe University offers student-led internal clinics in Speech Pathology, Podiatry, and Orthoptics at its Bundoora campus, with plans to expand into Occupational Therapy and other disciplines in the coming years. These clinics provide quality clinical services to the community and create a supportive learning environment for students to build their professional competencies. Responsibilities The Level B Clinical Educator, Speech Pathology, plays a key role in supervising and supporting students during clinical placements, ensuring high standards of care and student development, while also maintaining their own clinical practice registration and participating in student assessment. Qualifications Master’s degree or equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience as appropriate and recognised by the University/Profession for the relevant discipline. Proven ability to provide evidence based assessment and intervention for children with speech and language disorders. Proven ability to provide effective supervision of students. Demonstrated ability to be effective in teaching clinical skills in face-to-face, blended and/or online modes. You must also be a registered practitioner with Speech Pathology Australia.
