We are proud of who we are and what we do. #ProudlyGRC Project Specialist – Facilities Maintenance Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Project Specialist – Facilities Maintenance to contribute to Council’s success. 9 day fortnight, located in Gladstone Make a tangible impact on maintenance operations and drive positive change for the community Better Balance, Better Benefits with GRC About the Role The purpose of this position is to facilitate and contribute to significant projects, improvements/ upgrades and support facility maintenance of Council assets including corporate and community facilities throughout the Gladstone Region. Qualifications and Experience You will bring: Tertiary qualifications in Project Management (or related discipline) or proven success in managing building projects, together with skills and experience in preparing and executing project plans. Proven experience in contractor engagement, procurement, and management. High‑level business collaboration, negotiation, conflict resolution and relationship‑building skills to engage with and influence key stakeholders and employees. Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written English) skills, to effectively liaise with employees, internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to manage time and problem‑solving effectively. Current Construction Induction White card. Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
