Description Join our Downer Professional Services team and express your interest in future opportunities within our Space Systems Branch (SSB) stream. We are seeking to engage skilled professionals with Defence or Defence industry experience to join our permanent workforce and support complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australias future. Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units our Technical Advisory and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer a major service partner to Defence. Together we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security. Downer Professional Services partners closely with the Space Systems Branch which forms part of the Air Defence and Space Systems Division within CASG. Come be part of the team that delivers functional sustainment support for across all products and projects in various capabilities but not limited to : Systems Engineering SATCOM Engineering Integrated Logistics Support ILS Project Support Project Management What Youll Bring Previous experience ideally within the Defence or consulting services industries. Proven or previous experience working in the Defence industry Ability to consult and add value as a technical subject matter expert in your field Ability to translate and work with technical documentation to deliver into tangible solutions Bachelors or certification in your field of specialisation Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Due to the nature of the work you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the some instances compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
