Geotechnical Engineer

About the opportunity Westgold are recruiting an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with previous Underground experience to review mine plans and provide geotechnical inputs to the planning schedule as well as provide advice to the business to ensure risks are communicated managed and controlled. This is a permanent full-time role and will be offered on an 8 / 6 roster. The role includes Daily production tasks relating to geotechnical engineering including geotechnical monitoring analysis and QAQC Geotechnical inspection Issuing rehab plans Producing daily seismic analysis and reports Issuing seismic exclusion zones What do I need Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering Geotechnical Engineering Civil or equivalent Previous Underground experience (desirable) Practical experience / vacation time deemed advantageous.
