About The Role We are looking for passionate Gym Instructors to positively engage with members and provide health and fitness advice and programming. Applicants will engage and interact with participants across a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs. You will create a supportive and inclusive environment where every member feels valued and engaged. Key Duties Proactive gym floor supervision to ensure safety of staff and customers at all times. Exercise prescription to a wide variety of customers. Development and delivery of fitness programs. Schedule Temporary Part Time position until January 2027, 15 hours per week: Monday 4pm – 9pm, Thursday 3pm – 8pm, Saturday 6:30am – 12pm. Current Ausactive professional registration or equivalent. Current First Aid and CPR Certificate. Current NSW Working with Children Check. Commencing Salary $30.90 per hour, plus 12% superannuation. Child Protection Requirements This position is a Child-Related position under Child Protection laws in NSW. You must provide a valid Working with Children Check number. Employment Checks We will undertake employment checks including Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration, and/or a Functional Test, as relevant. If a Criminal History Check shows disclosable court outcomes, you must provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council.
