Manufacturing Machine Operator

Onecall Steel and Form is a privately owned and operated business providing steel and formwork supplies to the construction industry in the Canberra region. Due to our current workload we have multiple positions available to join our friendly hardworking team. Machine Operator Responsibilities Set up and operate manufacturing machinery Carry out basic quality control and inspection of products Loading and unloading trucks Use of tools and equipment within the warehouse including overhead crane Maintaining a safe work environment Other duties as directed The ability to take direction and to meet deadlines Work unsupervised and show initiative Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills Self-motivated with a "can do" attitude Have a good level of written and spoken English Capable of physical work with heavy lifting Experience in manufacturing machine operation and/or warehousing is desired but not essential Be flexible with varied start and finish times Be available to work overtime if required Qualifications Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident Schedule Immediate start Full time positions, we operate Monday to Friday shifts varying between 4:00am - 10:00pm.
