Overview Our Home: Our Groundwater Lodge community is set in the heart of our well preserved colonial architectural town of Maryborough. Our 60 bed home is divided into smaller households that mirror the look and rhythm of home with vast communal areas where our residents can enjoy their own homestyle lounge, dining and kitchen areas with a private backyard for their established gardens and veggie patches. Your Role: As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive resident experience in providing a person-centred approach to care. You will foster a collaborative approach in supporting our residents with all aspects of their daily needs and emotional wellbeing, essentially creating what we believe will enable older people to live their best lives. Responsibilities Care and services are delivered in accordance with the agreed Care Plan. Personal care, including but not limited to: Personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral and dental care and continence care. Mobility, including using aids and falls prevention. Eating and drinking, including awareness of special dietary requirements. Basic skin care including repositioning and application of skin creams. What’s in it for you?
