Like all of us at Thiess, you’re a passionate and energetic person, that appreciates responsibility, recognition and reward. 2:1 roster (7D7N7RR) | FIFO Perth to Iron Bridge Mine Salary sacrifice options available for applicants outside WA BIBO available for Port Hedland residents Permanent full-time role with development and upskilling opportunities Excellent new facilities - Japal Village In this role, you will: Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output Complying with Thiess’ policies and procedures Responding to instructions from Mining Supervisor Ensuring floor levels are maintained Minimising dilution and achieving design parameters within acceptable tolerances Maintain stockpiles, dumps and haul roads to ensure flow in a safe and efficient manner Operate, drive and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads Setting and maintain high housekeeping standards Carrying out pre-start checks About You 5 years experience operating a Dozer in a production mining operation Equivalent or specific experience operating; CAT D10 CAT D11 CAT D10T CAT 854K Possess strong mining operational skills and be able to demonstrate your ability in maintaining pit floors and bunds in a mining production environment Sound knowledge and understanding of ore mark ups and pit configuration HR drivers licence (desirable) Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times What Thiess Can Do For You Full camp facilities provided 2 gyms + a women’s only gym, sports games and gym classes Outdoor swimming pool, basketball/volleyball court, soccer pitch & hiking tracks Recreation rooms (pool table, darts etc) High quality food options (including made to order) In-room entertainment with own-device casting ability + WiFi Newly built crib hut Thiess’ commitment to training & development Salary sacrifice options – Flights & novated leasing Range of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.
