Associate - Major Projects Advisory

Job Description As part of KordaMentha’s Major Projects Advisory team, we provide commercial, financial, transaction management, and strategic advice to government and private sector clients. We are looking for an Associate eager to lead and contribute to the growth of our team. Key Responsibilities Develop business cases and options. Advise on transaction strategy or delivery model analysis. Provide transaction management services. Develop tender documentation and lead and manage tender processes. Develop commercial principles, term sheets, transaction documentation and contracts. Strategic asset management including development of asset management plans. Build financial models and conduct financial analysis. Leverage specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise in relevant infrastructure sectors (transport, energy, social infrastructure, defence and national security, real estate, or water). Commercial expertise working on large infrastructure projects ideally from a consultant/advisory perspective. Qualifications 2–3 years of relevant industry experience. Demonstrated experience in the private sector or government (e.g., professional services firms, management consultancy, corporate advisory, government infrastructure delivery teams, government treasury departments, investment banking or infrastructure funds). Tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, economics, law, engineering, or a similar discipline. Highly developed written and oral communication skills. A passion for doing work that matters and thriving on the challenge of solving complex problems, juggling competing demands, and working as part of a team in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
