Responsibilities Utilise advanced technical and non-technical crisis management skills to provide safe, autonomous clinical practice. Perform timely, structured assessments of life-threatening problems in critically ill patients and apply life-supporting therapy as appropriate. Lead and mentor a team of medical professionals, supervising and teaching junior medical staff. Contribute to the Department of Intensive Care Medicine within the Division of Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care Services, supporting ICU services at Footscray Hospital and Sunshine Hospital. Qualifications Medical Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications. Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine. Substantial relevant experience providing intensive care services.
