Sustainability Reporting Manager – 2-year Max Term Contract Bayer ANZ invites applications for an innovative role focused on sustainability reporting at the intersection of science, regulation, and climate action. Job Summary As Sustainability Reporting Manager, you will lead Bayer’s compliance with emerging climate‑related financial disclosure requirements and strengthen governance frameworks across our Crop Science and Health divisions. Responsibilities Drive Bayer’s sustainability compliance strategy and prepare the organization for mandatory climate‑related financial disclosures. Own the sustainability reporting lifecycle from robust documentation and controls to audit‑ready deliverables. Shape Scope 3 emissions methodologies and lead supplier engagement to capture accurate data. Benchmark and elevate reporting standards, conducting gap analyses that position Bayer as an industry leader in transparency. Lead cross‑divisional sustainability working groups and embed ESG into the business fabric. Influence senior leadership with clear insights on climate risks, metrics, and regulatory developments. Future‑proof reporting frameworks for emerging requirements in nature, packaging, and beyond. Align local and global processes with Bayer’s international sustainability strategy. Orchestrate external partnerships, managing consultants for scenario analysis and report design. Respond to complex sustainability inquiries from suppliers, regulators, and third parties with clarity. Translate complex regulations into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders. Command sustainability data systems, overseeing emissions profiles and scenario modelling. Champion digital transformation, adopting cutting‑edge software solutions for compliance and reporting excellence. Qualifications Graduate degree in sustainability, agriculture, health, environmental science or related discipline. Deep expertise in sustainability reporting and climate risk frameworks (AASB S2, IFRS S2, TCFD). Proven leadership in project management and stakeholder engagement. Ability to influence cross‑divisional programs and shape strategic decisions. Sector insight in agriculture or health is highly desirable.
