ROAVER | Junior - Mid: Full-Stack TypeScript Developer We're a small startup with a big footprint; powering white-label travel solutions through a custom-built tech stack that handles millions in bookings annually. With a growing dev team, we're now looking for a mid-level full-stack engineer to join us full-time. This isn't a role for someone who wants to delegate their thinking to tools. We're looking for someone who values craftsmanship, clarity, and the kind of programming that requires real understanding. You won't be writing throwaway MVPs, you'll be helping shape a codebase that supports 40+ production websites and a distributed platform built to last. What You'll Work On A custom HTML rendering system built in-house (not tied to any frontend framework) A large, shared TypeScript codebase across front-end and back-end Real-time systems backed by PostgreSQL and Redis Distributed deployments to bare-metal infrastructure Feature development, optimization, and involvement in system design, with opportunities to support scaling What We're Looking For A mid-level developer who wants to grow through disciplined, consistent practice Strong fluency in TypeScript and web application architecture A thoughtful and curious mind—someone who questions things, reads the code, and refactors it better Deep respect for clarity, maintainability, and performance Eagerness to learn extensible programming patterns and master efficient boilerplate Willingness to work without AI code tools; this role demands intentional code Why This Role Is Different You'll collaborate directly with the lead developer and founder You'll learn the internal workings of a codebase that's been shaped for scale, simplicity, and automation You'll work in a startup where decisions are fast and your code matters Your first few weeks will be immersive and in-person, followed by a flexible hybrid model This is a place for someone who believes that writing software is an act of intent and craft.
