This site-based role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to one of Australia’s most significant infrastructure projects. About The Role As a Senior Project Engineer, you’ll support the Structures Project Manager in delivering key infrastructure work packages. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and planning standards. You’ll manage stakeholders, oversee contractors and consultants, and provide strategic, timely advice to support decision-making across the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities May Include Support planning, design development, and delivery of the I2S project Conduct site inspections and liaise with consultants and engineers Manage inputs from project engineers supporting contractor activities Review and validate scope, program, cost, and safety inputs Monitor and report on contractor safety performance Resolve site-related construction and engineering issues Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on technical and contractual matters Assist in contract administration and financial forecasting Prepare technical reports and project evaluations About You To thrive in this role, you'll be a strategic thinker with strong collaboration and influencing skills. You’ll bring a positive, solutions-focused mindset, excel in dynamic environments, and build strong working relationships while remaining resilient and adaptable to evolving project needs. Additionally, You Should Be Able To Demonstrate A degree in Civil Engineering Experience in bridge construction, and drainage infrastructure at a senior level Rail infrastructure experience (advantageous but not essential) Strong design coordination and stakeholder management skills Knowledge of WHS principles and rail safety legislation Experience in major infrastructure project delivery Excellent communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills Class C Driver’s Licence CPEng or eligibility to obtain What You’ll Be Joining You will join one of the largest infrastructure programs in Australia.
