Warrina Aged Care is a 79 bed residence located in New Gisborne, Victoria, providing respite, low and high care. We are located just off the Calder Highway, providing an easy drive from Melbourne. Personal Care Attendants are an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, working to achieve a high standard of evidence‑based care to ensure positive treatment outcomes that are closely aligned with what matters for each individual. Warrina Aged Care is a home for our residents. You’ll work as part of a team to assist with showering, dressing, simple cleaning, linen service, and meals. But you’ll also be there to spend time with residents, share stories, connect and show kindness and empathy. We have regular part‑time morning, afternoon and night shifts. It can also be a great learning environment if you’re new to the industry as you’ll be exposed to experienced carers and nursing staff. To succeed in the role you must: Have a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or similar Able to communicate and build rapport with residents in English (other languages can be helpful too) Experience providing services and activities centred around individual needs including grooming, showering, mobility, meals, toileting, social activities. High level of customer service skills. Main responsibilities: Personal Care: Assisting with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident. Mobility support: Helping residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions including from a bed to a wheelchair. Monitoring health: Observing and reporting any changes in the resident’s health or behavior. Meal Assist: Supporting residents with their dietary requirements ensuring they receive the food they need and assisting them in the process of eating. Maintaining records: Keeping accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition on Lee care. Collaboration with healthcare professionals: Working in collaboration with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents. #J-18808-Ljbffr
