About the Role As the Social Care Coordinator, you’ll lead and oversee the social care program at Mt St Vincent. Working closely with the General Manager and a passionate team of staff and volunteers, you’ll design and deliver engaging, resident focused programs that nurture wellbeing, creativity, and social connection. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and continually enhance social, emotional, and recreational programs tailored to residents’ interests and needs. Lead and support social care staff and volunteers in delivering high quality activities and experiences. Foster partnerships and connections with the local community, schools, and organisations. Facilitate resident meetings and encourage input in planning and program design. Maintain accurate records, program statistics, and resource inventories. Monitor and manage social care supplies and undertake audits as required. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and promote a culture of safety, respect, and inclusion. Qualifications & Experience Essential: Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle (or similar qualification). Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain). Proficiency in computer and information management systems. Current First Aid Certificate. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Desirable: Experience in aged care, dementia care, or therapeutic or recreational services. Membership with Diversional Therapy Australia. Experience providing complementary or creative therapies.
