Full-Time Medical Receptionist – Toronto Family Practice & Fletcher Clinic Toronto Family Practice and Fletcher Clinic are two well-established family-owned GP Practices dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised care to our patients. We are seeking a professional and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team and support operations across both locations. Immediate start available. Our Fletcher practice operates Monday to Friday, 7.45am – 5:30 pm , and is home to 4 GPs and 2 Practice Nurses . Our Toronto practice operates Monday to Friday, 7.45am – 5:30 pm and Saturdays 8.45am-1.30pm , and is home to 4 GPs and 3 Practice Nurses . Thorough on-the-job training will be provided and above Award pay afforded to the right candidate, dependent upon previous experience and knowledge. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes. Schedule appointments and maintain patient records using Best Practice. Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly and professionally. Process billing and handle payments. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow. Provide high-quality patient service in a fast-paced, professional environment Requirements Previous experience in a medical or healthcare reception role preferred (preferred but not essential, we pride ourself on training our staff). Someone reliable - showing up when rostered is non-negotiable. If reliability is an issue, this isn’t the role for you. Strong communication and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work flexibly across two practice locations with own transport. Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude. Be confident using computer systems and willing to learn medical software such as Best Practice and HotDoc. Ability to work unsupervised and maintain patient confidentiality.
