Your Dream Opportunity We’re seeking a casual (30 hours) Assistant Quality Assurance Officer to join our Production & QA team. This role supports the Quality Assurance function to ensure every Forever New garment meets our high standards for quality, fit, and finish - from concept to final approval. You’ll work collaboratively across Design, Buying, and Planning, helping to maintain the integrity of each collection and ensure that every piece reflects our signature style and quality. This is the perfect opportunity for someone passionate about fashion, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in garment quality and production. Get Excited To Support QA Technicians during design briefs, fittings, and sample assessments. Assist in evaluating samples for construction, fabric, tension, and finish, providing feedback to offshore teams. Measure, press, and prepare samples for fittings, maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail. Document and communicate fit comments, rework notes, and sample progress clearly and on time. Assist with the sealing of samples at each approval stage, ensuring all documentation is complete and archived. Visit stores to review garment quality and monitor customer feedback on fit and construction. Support administration across the QA team, tracking fabrics and sample workflow efficiently. Actively contribute to the team culture - working collaboratively, adapting to priorities, and upholding Forever New’s quality standards. The Skills & Experience You Offer Us Qualification (or currently studying) in Quality Assurance, Fashion, or a related field. Graduate and/or work experience within fashion, textiles, or a similar industry. Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and grading. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and experience with purchase order or QA systems. Knowledge of the fashion critical path and how QA interacts with key milestones. Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills. Behaviours & Attributes A passion for fashion and enthusiasm for the Forever New brand.
