Merchandise Officer Volunteer - Southern Football League The Merchandise Officer is responsible for all merchandise that is to be sold during matches & other club events. They also ensure the issue of the correct Guernseys for the teams. Responsibilities Keep records of club Guernseys that have been issued to each team, including sizes, numbers and quantities. Ensure merchandise is available for sale at all home games and club events. Have an adequate display at these events and promote them through various means (eg. Facebook, website and flyers). Maintain stock levels and order more in conjunction with the treasurer. Keep accurate records of all sales that are made. Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of math (addition, subtraction, multiplication). Good customer service skills and the ability to diffuse an aggressive situation. Ability to work independently without constant supervision. Ability to grow and maintain relationships. No qualifications required, but experience in a similar role is an advantage; the role can be learned on the job.
