Data Privacy - Litigation Attorney / Litigation - Class Actions - Plaintiffs Attorney in Brisbane, Queensland Job Responsibilities: The Associate Solicitor in the Class Actions team at the law firm will be responsible for contributing to the success of running complex commercial litigation with a particular focus on class actions. The role involves working on a variety of active matters and investigations, including shareholder, financial services, and consumer protection class actions. Investigating potential class actions, focusing on shareholder, financial services, and consumer protection class actions. Liaising with registrants and taking statements from potential lead plaintiffs. Supporting the filing and conduct of multiple class actions. Effectively delegating tasks to law clerks and paralegals to deliver on discrete tasks related to class actions. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing regular and effective communication while managing expectations. Following the law firm's key case management processes to help deliver tasks in full and on time, supporting more junior team members to do the same. Drafting high-quality legal documents in a timely manner. Assisting in coordinating the production of the applicant's discovery, ensuring relevant records are retrieved and searched using e-discovery platforms.
