Allied Health Rural Generalist (Dietitian) – Hinterland Facilities Apply for the role at Mackay Hospital and Health Service. Role details: The Allied Health Hinterland at the Hinterland Facilities is seeking applications for a Allied Health Rural Generalist (Dietitian) to join their team on a temporary basis. Your opportunity Work as a member of a multidisciplinary & trans‑disciplinary Allied Health team, delivering clinical services to clients in the Mackay Hospital and Health Services Hinterland, covering a range of clinical conditions, complexity, and age groups. Operate within a Professional Skill‑Sharing and Delegation (PSSD) model of care by providing and participating in supervision and training in the use of skill‑shared and delegated clinical tasks and by delivering an expanded scope of clinical practice. Report operationally to the Hinterland Allied Health Team Leader and professionally to the relevant Professional Discipline Director. Provide clinical care in person, via tele‑health and outreach throughout the Mackay Hospital and Health Service Hinterland; overnight accommodation may be necessary. Participate in the Allied Health Rural Generalist Pathway and the Rural Generalist Leadership Development Program including mentoring, funded post‑graduate education. About The Team The Allied Health Hinterland team spans across the Mackay Hinterland encompassing Clermont, Moranbah and Dysart, providing clinical care across inpatients, outpatients and residential aged care facilities.
