Role – 59407 Job Description This is a unique opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Technology Digital team. The team uses a wide range of technologies to design, architect, develop, and support solutions for both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, developing containerisation solutions, and supporting cloud migration projects. Core Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery. Develop and maintain containerisation solutions for .NET applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Support and manage on‑premises to cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime. Automate configuration management, deployment, and orchestration tasks. Monitor and optimise system performance, reliability, and security. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth application delivery. Migrate CHEF, Bamboo and Jenkins projects over to GitLab. Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure using CHEF. Required Qualifications Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and on‑premises to cloud migration. Proficiency in containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Familiarity with .NET application development and deployment. Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. CHEF experience is essential for this role. Experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure using CHEF.
