Location: Perth Office - CBD, WA, AU We have a new 12-month Secondment Opportunity for a Commercial Procurement Contract Team Leader in our Network Maintenance & Operational Support portfolio where you'll drive procurement excellence and foster a collaborative, transparent environment. You'll lead a team of skilled Category and Sourcing Specialists, ensuring their success in delivering key procurement outcomes. Your Role in Action Lead a high-performing procurement team to deliver business programs and objectives aligned with customer needs and strategy. Provide expert advice, clear direction, and technical guidance to ensure team success. Drive consistency in category and sourcing processes, utilising systems, tools, and templates effectively. Develop and mentor team members, fostering growth, performance, and continuous improvement. Promote innovation and a culture of excellence in procurement practices. Organise resources strategically to achieve key outcomes and deliverables. Ensure thorough documentation supports category strategies and sourcing events. What Makes You a Great Fit Extensive experience in managing complex procurement categories and sourcing strategies. Strong negotiation expertise with a proven ability to manage commercial and contractual risks effectively. Exceptional leadership skills, with a proactive approach to team development and engagement. Solid knowledge of contract and construction law, including relevant legislation and regulations. Proven track record of negotiating high-value transactions with confidence and precision. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
