Gate Clerk

Overview DP World Container Parks are looking for a Gate Clerk to join our team in a permanent capacity at our site at Fremantle Ports. The role of a Gate Clerk is to process the trucks entering and exiting the Container Park including accurate and timely data entry, operational liaison with drivers and yard workers, and paperwork processing. Responsibilities Monitor outstanding bookings to ensure carriers have not arrived out of window and direct carriers to the correct yard location. Record and rectify data errors to maintain accurate container movements. Use the internal operating system to validate de‑hire and export booking details supplied by the carrier and ensure all data is accurate. Regularly liaise with truck drivers, forklift operators, and office staff to ensure efficient coordination of the yard and traffic flow. Write appropriate stickers for identification of containers after unloading. Support general clerical duties, including answering phone calls and e‑mails. Qualifications, Skills and Experience Valid driver’s license. Previous admin/data‑entry experience in a Logistics or Transport environment preferred but not essential.
