Position Summary As this practice prepares prepares to bid farewell to their senior GP who has been serving the community for 37 years this practice in the Sunshine Coast region is seeking a new GP to join their team and community to continue to provide comprehensive medical services to the large patient base. This well established Mixed billing practice is offering 70% of billings and $150 per hour for the first 3 months to help you settle in. This is currently a team of 4 GPs supported by 2 experienced practice nurses. Weekend work is not required, but can be picked up if desired Services provided include a full range of General Practice care for patients of all ages, including home visits when appropriate. Their doctors special interests include: Child and adolescent health Skin checks including excisions Women’s Health Nutrition Men’s Health Counselling Palliative Care Management of asthma, migraines and diabetes Travel Medicine PREVENTATIVE CARE Essential Criteria - MBBS or equivalent degree enabling registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia - FRACGP or equivalent - 2 years of GP experience desired - Current GENERAL registration with AHPRA - Good communication skills are essential, and a passion for continued education is vital.
