Synergie Australia is seeking an Uplift Clerkfor our client located at Cairns Airport. Important Parts Full time Permanent role - shift position including some weekends and Public Holidays (earliest shift start is 3.30am and latest finish is 8pm) $73,740.00 - $77,500.00 annual salary - 5 weeks annual leave - paid car parking Immediate start What you will be required to do Meet and greet customers at their front desk Receive incoming freight and dispatch outgoing freight - managing all records and paperwork Liaise with shed staff about freight locations in the warehouse Use the in‑house computer program to enter freight details (including weight) and balance freight correctly accurately calculating the aircraft’s centre of gravity Check freight against invoices To be successful in the role you must Have excellent computer skills Enjoy working with the public and providing exceptional customer service Enjoy working in an office space but also have the ability to help in the warehouse from time to time (Forklift license would be beneficial) Be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test and police clearance for ASIC card Have full working rights in Australia and be a permanent resident (this role is not suitable for holders of Working Holiday Visas) Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to work Demonstrate a positive attitude toward safety and its importance in every role.
