You’ll support the build and management of backend infrastructure, implement new features, and collaborate closely with a cross‑functional team, in an agile environment. In addition, you’ll take on a senior role within the team, coaching and guiding other engineers across the software development lifecycle. What’s Involved Contribute to a maintainable, high‑quality, and performant codebase. Design and optimise backend services for scalability and reliability. Collaborate with engineering team members and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. Lead technical discussions, mentor developers, and share knowledge to lift team capability. Contribute to technical solution designs and product ideas. Apply modern engineering practices such as TDD, CI/CD, and infrastructure‑as‑code. You’ll Need Proven experience in software development with strong backend expertise. .NET expertise is essential – deep experience with C# and .NET Core. Strong foundation in object‑oriented design and building RESTful APIs. Hands‑on experience with agile practices, TDD, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Vagrant). Experience with virtualization and infrastructure‑as‑code principles. Event‑driven development experience is advantageous. Solace messaging experience is advantageous. Exposure to Azure microservices architecture and OpenAPI tools like Swagger is a plus.
