Catering HQ is looking for proactive Function Bar & Wait Staff and Cafe All Rounders to join our dedicated team at Brighton Lakes Golf Club on a casual basis. We provide great opportunities for career progression. The Brand: Catering HQ is a family‑run company that was established in 1996. We currently have 15 fabulous venues across Sydney and Melbourne. We believe in striving for excellence at all times and pride ourselves on having an experienced and dedicated team who love their work and their work environment. At Catering HQ we are always looking to adapt to evolving market trends for our restaurants, cafés and events. This allows our menus and décor to be fresh, interesting and inviting to our guests. We are known for delivering high‑quality meals and exceptional customer service. Duties & Responsibilities Communicate with co‑workers and management to solve problems and improve quality and service Assist in the opening and/or closing of the catering department as per the company checklist guidelines. Initiate dialogue and develop rapport with customers by learning their names, favourite drinks and food items Understand and anticipate customer needs and aim to exceed these requirements Provide exceptional quality, consistent coffee and beverages to our guests Assist in reaching business goals and objectives as set out by management Key Qualities Experience in a similar role is ideal – bar tending, wait staff or barista Have a strong customer service focus Professional, upbeat and friendly personality Exceptional attention to detail Positive and flexible attitude Highest level of presentation and grooming standards Confidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learn Honest and results focused – able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed Innovative – proven experience of genuinely implementing new ideas Able to follow manual handling procedures correctly RSA is required for bar roles.
