About the Role National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Project Officer Threatened Species to work as part of the team based in Coffs Harbour and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment of the beautiful local areas. The Project Officer is responsible for providing diverse project and contract management support services for threatened species including preparation of reports and briefs coordinating resources maintaining project documentation implementing and monitoring project plans. An exciting opportunity to work within a high performing team to support National Parks and Wildlife Services programs of works. About You As a Project Officer you are adept at managing competing priorities and working collaboratively with inter-connected teams. Ideally you have exposure to high-volume work within a large complex organisation or similar. In addition to your strong verbal and written communication skills you will have proven ability to work with stakeholders to achieve program and project outcomes whilst exercising sound judgement and discretion. Essential Requirements Previous experience developing and implementing a multi-stakeholder threatened species management project or program. Demonstrated competency in data analysis and use of information systems including working knowledge of GIS databases and statistical applications. Demonstrated experience in operational works relevant to the role and ability to supervise and carry out all duties safely in accordance with WHS requirements. Current Australian Class C Drivers licence or equivalent and willingness to obtain a 4WD operation certificate.
