We are a solid, stable team looking for an experienced Assistant Practice Manager as we prepare for a significant growth in customer volumes. The Opportunity: We have a versatile, exciting and rewarding opportunity at ourCaringbah, NSW for a dedicated Assistant Practice Manager seeking permanent full-time work: Supporting the Practice Manager in coaching, leading & developing a high performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients Assist with overall financial performance of the practice in line with the approved budget Contribute to and assist in facilitating regular team meetings Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts General administration including processing payments using EFTPOS & HiCaps In the absence of the Practice Manager you will be required to step into the role of Acting Practice Manager Effectively manage the recruitment & selection for all practice staff You’ll be: Relied on for your strong leadership and administrative skills, and no prior dental experience is needed Willing to learn dental operations and grow within the role Experienced in business and people management Able to demonstrate excellent organisational, administrative, and time‑management abilities Skilled in communication, interpersonal relations, and customer service Capable of understanding financial performance, including generating income and managing costs Confident in handling challenging conversations and resolving issues promptly Comfortable engaging with a diverse range of people, from dentists and patients to practice teams Proactive and solutions‑focused, with strong business acumen At Bupa your wellbeing, identity, and personal story are respected and valued.
