To succeed in the role, you will have previous experience coordinating a team on a mine site. You will have a strong safety focus with the ability to mentor your team. You will be required to supervise all activities and ensure safety standards are maintained, deadlines are met, completed accurately to specifications and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Responsible for day to day operations Working with the team to ensure time frames and deadlines are met Conduct regular Prestarts/Toolbox meetings to communicate planning and team direction Responsible for ensuring all works are completed correctly and the QA process is adhered to Project planning and pre-works Mentoring, training and supervising employees Continually seek to improve process and strive for operational efficiency Requirements Shovel or Dragline shutdown experience Current Drivers Licence Experience working in a heavy machinery/mine site environment Previous leadership experience Coal Board Medical Standard 11 - Statement of Attainment Working at Heights Confined Space Gas Test Atmosphere Great communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated experience leading small teams of tradespeople and apprentices Exceptional time management, people skills and a willingness to build a cohesive team Uncompromising attitude to safety What's in it for you?
