Supervisor Radiographer - Satellite Emergency Deparment Salary: Grade 4 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging Radiographer Location: New Footscray Hospital Employment Type: Full-Time, Ongoing Salary: Grade 4 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging About The Role This new role offers the successful applicant the opportunity to be part of something special You will manage the transition to and setup of the brand-new satellite Medical Imaging Department within Emergency. As the supervising Grade 4 Radiographer, you will guide and manage the medical imaging staff, manage daily operations, provide oversight of the satellite service while collaborating with relevant modality leads for equipment in the area. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Medical Imaging service in Satellite Emergency Medical Imaging, Footscray Hospital Supervise and support radiographers rostered to the emergency department Ensure efficient workflow, scheduling, and resource management Ensure exceptional standards of patient care and imaging quality Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental protocols and quality assurance in line with accreditation standards Maintain advanced credentialling in Generals or CT Participate in out of hours rostering and call About You AHPRA-registered Radiographer with a current Radiation Use Licence (Victoria) Working with Children card Advanced clinical skills and experience with minimum 10 years’ experience in Generals or CT Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities Strong commitment to patient safety, quality, and team collaboration Excellent communication and organisational skills Position Description About Western Health Western Health is one of the largest healthcare providers in Victoria, caring for a vibrant, diverse and rapidly growing community of one million people in Melbourne’s western suburbs.
