About the role Workfast is looking for experienced Yard Hands / Trade Assistants to join their team in a warehouse in Beresfield. Full-time casual ongoing position $38.00 per hour + penalties + super Work for a national company Immediate start for the right Yard Hand / Trade Assistant Lots of hours, great location easily accessible by car or public transport What you will be doing Perform safe loading and unloading of plant and equipment exiting and returning to the yard. Conduct general housekeeping of the yard facilities in accordance with company standards. Manage OH&S and environmental hazards in the workplace. Conduct general workshop/yard cleanliness, tidiness and litter management. Ensure timely completion for all inspection, testing, safety, delivery and purchasing paperwork is completed in full. Trade assistant work for tradesmen when and as needed. Responsible for spare parts & stock takes. Driving to pick up parts from suppliers or delivering parts or equipment to sites. What you need 1-2 years experience as a yard hand. Warehouse experience. Physically fit for manual handling work when required. Very strong attention to detail. Happy to be on your feet all day. Ability to obtain a current police check. Looking for long term work. Own transport/ability to get to work. Willing to work hard and have a 'can do' attitude.
