Here's a further breakdown of what to expect and what we are looking for, whether you're looking for a role in cabinetmaking, or installing, or would like to do both: Cabinetmaking – What You’ll Be Doing: Working as part of a team Assembling cabinetry in our factory Operating various machinery, hand and power tools Selecting and preparing materials and components for construction Reading and interpreting detailed diagrams, job sheets and cutting lists Potentially (if experienced): Mentoring apprentices Potentially (if experienced): Onsite work Cabinet Installing – What You’ll Be Doing: Driving to building sites in a company‑provided vehicle Reading builders plans, CV drawings to understand the installation requirements Installing cabinetry as per plans and Spectra Lifestyle quality standards Installing stone bench tops on the same day Communicating and reporting back to the Spectra Lifestyle team as needed throughout the day You will have the support of our Install Coordinator, to help resolve any challenges that arise. You’ll be given notice of upcoming jobs in advance Cabinetry will be delivered to site for you (so less heavy lifting) Qualifications Needed: Trade certificate A valid white card (essential for installing) A minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience Applicants must have legal work rights in Australia. What we’re looking for: A team‑mindful attitude A good eye for detail and quality workmanship Ability to work unsupervised and in a team Good verbal and written communication skills A valid manual driver’s licence Advantageous: Knowledge of running a CNC router and Edge bander Full‑time hours are on offer, and overtime (which is spread across the team Monday–Wednesday).
